Some small update for the black msp
Installed some goldline lowering spring since i removed the yellowspeed coilover... I traded a set of skunk2 sleeves for the goldline springs love the ride quality
Install went okay but i did not like how the rear spring lined up with the top hat since i think these were made for a p5 when installed the bottom of the shock was facing the wrong way
So what i did was modify them to fit correctly so i cut and sand the spring
The ride height is perfect and great ride quality no bouncing which i thought was gonna happen when i made the cut but came out great
The front springs fit perfectly
Ill post some pics soon of the car lowered on the springs

I too have these and yes, they are great!.....I may sell em to aid in my coilover set up in the future

Bought a need plus a tuning solution
Finally drop the money on a haltech platinum 1000 sport from signature sound
Also got a great deal on this dg motorsport hood with the built in scoop
I will be getting the hood recleared

I have not seen that hood on a car in a LONG time. Nice pick up
They are really awesome but coilovers are always needed.... I ended trading with the person who owned my first msp which was laser blue he was looking for more slammed look and i had the skunk2 sleeves to trade him originally i bought those springs 4 years ago lol sold them on the car

threw them on the grey mazdaspeed finally starting the build
everything i buy now is basically for the grey msp like the dg hood and haltech plus all the performance parts i have..... im just cleaning up the black msp now the springs were need the ride height was horrible on stock springs i will be getting both hoods re cleared the vis evo hood will go back onto the black protege and dg for the grey
doing more work on the black msp decide to remove the fully ported intake manifold and my 3in turbo back
next is polish the vis hood to good back on the black msp
got the pope of
getting the bay ready for a engine bay wash
the black intake mani is fully ported both valve deletes ported just like the jdm sam does with huge interior runners putting an oem manifold on now
3in pope downpipe w/ flex band custom 3in catless protegegarage mid pipe and the cat back is a vibrant 3in
started the under the bay
Also doing a small wire tuck
Put a flex cover over the oil line to match my nology wires
next is polish the vis hood to good back on the black msp

Looks good, I need to do the wire tuck when I switch out the intake manifold on mine. It looks really simple. Whats the reason for going back to the stock manifold? Or are you moving it to your grey msp?
Its real simple just be careful.... Im planning on cleaning this msp up some more then sell the car and i will be selling the the turbo back and intake mani because ill need a custom turbo back for the grey msp to work with the top mount turbo manifold and i have a version 2 505zoom intake manifold

Ok sweet, man whenever you decide to sale turbo back and manifold, let me know I'll be interested lol. What size is that mid pipe too?
On the wire tuck, you just have to get the electrical tape off and basically reroute them right?
Turbo back is pretty much already sold locally but its all 3 inch 2.5 portion of the vibrant was basically tossed and a 3 inch mid pipe was made and ill definitely let you know when im posting the intake manifold for sale... Yea thats basically it just follow the wires
