Msp Black Housing/euro Clear Headlights??

I can't believe all of you people want to shell out $160 for these when you can paint your stock headlights yourself (paint costs a few bucks) & buy clear corners from tytanium on the 2nd week of July (only cost $8!). There is no way I'd waste all that $$ on these Procarparts lights. Who knows what the quality is like & has anyone wondered why they are so much cheaper than OEM lights?

Actually, if I had to guess, the reason some people would be willing to shell out $160 for these lights is the same reason some people have stacks upon stacks of OE parts laying on their garage floor. I personally don't want to modify any of my original parts beyond the point of no return. Selling a modified car is no where near as easy as selling a stock one. As far as the quality goes, sure, they're probably not as good as stock, but the reason the OE lights are $400/pair is because they are Original Equipment. NOTHING is cheap from the dealer.

so what do u guys think i have 475 shall i buy these light 160+300 CF grill and eyelid or..
400 OEM lights+75 OEM grill.. ??

If you live close to where procarparts is located, then just go down there and test fit them, or ask them if they've had them on a car yet. You'd think they'd have to if they are selling them...

Sh!t, I'm cheap, I cracked mine upen, ripped out the orange reflector, painted them black and resealed them. I haven't had foggy lights yet thank god but they look just like that, then I got those platinum bulbs so there clear when there not on, but orange when they are to keep it a little more legal at night(I like to go to bars a lot and not go to jail) (naughty)

Mine will be here in a week...do you have to take your whole front bumper off to take the headlights out??

Yeah, but its not too bad, takes like 20 minutes max. Then 4 screws per headlight and tada, you're done

Anyone have a How-To for the bumper removal...I tried to search, but I get:

"The search term you specified (to) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer."

look in the how to section for the painting your headlights thread. that should show how to take off your bumper

i finally got the lights..
they dont come with the bulbs. they look pretty descent for aftermarket headlights.. i dont have my stock one to compare em with. but ill post pics as soon as i get them installed..

The black housing lights are cool, but i think if they produced these they would sell like hot cakes.
