it would be cool if there were official sticky threads for each MSP color.

there are so many "black MSP pics" or "post your silver MSP" threads made and then they always go far down or to the 2nd page because of the amount of others posts... then others are started like a month later. i know it's possible to merge threads together, so i think it'd be awesome if it was like:

Sticky: "The Official 03.5 Blazing Yellow MSP Picture Thread"
Sticky: "The Official 03.5 Laser Blue MSP Picture Thread"
Sticky: "The Official 03.5 Sunlight Silver MSP Picture Thread"
Sticky: "The Official 03.5 Titanium Gray MSP Picture Thread"
Sticky: "The Official 03 Black Mica MSP Picture Thread"
Sticky: "The Official 03 Spicy Orange MSP Picture Thread"

... and the official thread was a bunch of the existing ones merged together, and possibly cleaned up (getting rid of pointless discussion). this would be great for people searching for pictures, and just an overall nice addition to this forum.

No need dude. To many stickies = trashy looking. Why cant we just have a MSP picture thread due to these cars are being harder and harder to find.... WAIT! We already do!

And if someone is REALLY searching for pictures it would be in the MSP Picture thread not just one color all together. I Honestly could care less if its black yellow orange or pink. Aslong as its a tastefully done MSP! I dislike segregation.

And also Just make those "Official" and leave it at that. No need for stickies on threads that will be posted in alot (hence sticky is SUPPOSED to be for a thread that wont be posted on alot or a announcement.

Which stems from this.
Keep the sticky for all MSP pics
but in the 1st post link to each color
So basically we can start a spicy pic thread, yellow, black mica ect, but dont sticky those. They can go away to what ever page they want but can easily be found by clicking the link!!

Which late. Tonight I'll start a new MSP picture page for your MSP pics (all colors) and change some of the current titles to thread to make them more.... Simple yet effective. And make cool graphics like I did with the build thread! I would also send over all the posts from the current MSP picture thread to the new one.

Sounds good to me, any other feedback?

Oh, no hate but that comment in the poll makes no sence, it wouldn't really be "easier" and it really wasn't needed to be added in the poll.

I think the picture thread is fine but a specific color thread would also be cool, there are only 6 colors it wouldn't necessarily be a clusterfuck of stickies.

I agree with outlaw on the too many stickies. I was on a site that almost the first whole page stickies. I there there was enough space for 5-6 new threads to show up on page one. who the hell wants to keep clicking to page 2 just to find out if you missed something LOL.
It was one of those we are better then everyone and all knowing auto sites. So basically they had put all the questions ever asked on the first page and stickied them. So eventually no one ever had to post a question and therefore no one would ever have to answer the same question again. Why even have a forum at that rate. Post a cheap free website then with that info and call it a day LOL

no hate, but 2 + 6 (colors) = 8, not 20. (plus the best looking MSPs competition may as well be un-sticky-ed since it's been long over with)... so 7.

there are 23 threads on a page, the thread at the bottom of the MSP appearance page was last posted in 10-07-2010, almost exactly a month ago.

however - it was just a suggestion since the MSP is a dying breed, i figured it'd be smart to allow access to images easier than using the pathetic search feature that this site offers.

this forum is not just for us, but the people who lurk and remain guests as well. think about it, just about any search you make on google relating to "mazdaspeed" or "MSP" or anything related to mazda mods... brings you to THIS message board. for people wanting to see pictures of just let's say titanium MSPs, why should they have to browse through the "Post the BEST Pics of Your MSP!" thread? IMO, when i want to see something specific, i'd much rather be give the ability to do so at my fingertips rather than having to dig deep to find it.

so far the arguments against it are pretty stupid... especially since it's clear it wouldn't be a "clusterfux" of sticky threads. but i guess i like the solution zuku came up with at first...

if there were CLEANED UP, and merged together OFFICIAL [individual color] picture post threads... and they were linked in the "POST your MSP pics" thread, but not stickied, that'd be cool i guess.

i know it requires some for for the mods, but it benefits the message board as a whole, and everyone who uses it (users or not)

+1 Make one general links sticky thread with cross links to other threads.

Edit: Or you can just add to the first post in the "Post the BEST Pics of Your MSP!" thread with links to each individual color.... 1 multipurpose thread!

Biz.... If i was a noob at this car and wanted to see pictures of ANTHING. I don't google search for pages. i go to Images! Thats what most people do. they dont go around and read pages of pages of people talking back and forth. they just want google images. In the end its just mainly of us on this forum not for someone just "looking around on the internet" Even when i need a picture of someone on here's car I google image search for it and i 90% of the time find what I am looking for.

No problem. THe fact is there are not that many colors for our cars and on top of that there are not many of our cars as true MSP in general compared to a regular protege. No need for more mess when you can google or search the forum or search engine.

like now there is 15 posts per page. i think for the "Post the BEST Pics of Your MSP!" thread, it would be cool if it was 30 or 40 posts per page... then you could see more pictures by just scrolling down instead of clicking to the next page so often.

just an idea.

i like this idea. the post pics of your msp is full of conversation and not enough pics, this will make it alot easier to narrow down the cars you care to see. plus we can find out which color is more popular just for s**** and gigs

yes its in your settings... The one draw back and down side to the 30-40 pics per page is longer load times! Some people b**** moan and groan about having to wait for an attachment to load yet alone a longer page full of pics. Now me I could care less. However thats my 2 cents on that suggestion.

I do like this idea, but it would take longer to load and with the server or program running this forum lagging every so often would probably not be a good idea to change that.
