I have been learning a lot about my new car on this forum. It's a great resource. I bought the MS6 to get the fun back in driving again. I drove a Porsche 944 as a daily driver for seven years, and finally sold it about a year ago with over 200,000 miles on it -- the doors wouldn't open when it was cold and the back window was about to all out of it. I tried driving normal cars, but just couldn't do it. I thought I was going to buy a BMW 330xi, or an Audi S4 (with the 2.7 twin turbo), but after driving both, they simply did not compare with the MS6. It was not even a hard decision.

I felt the same way when I bought my speed6. I would've loved a BMW or Audi, but there are two problems -- everyone and their sister drives one, and the initial outlay of cash just didn't seem worth it. I know it's the whole "German engineering" thing, and I've always been a bit of a eurocar purist, but honestly I just never thought I'd fall in love with a Japanese automobile, and I have fallen in love with this car. I've had it since March, and I can say without fail that each time I get in it, I just love it.

You won't be disappointed. Looks awesome in white too...

Welcome to the family!

Thanks, and yeah I was really surprised after driving the 330xi. It had great handling, but it lacked the power of the MS6, and maybe it was because it had an automatic (hard to find any with a manual), but it drove like a minivan unless you were full on with the gas. The other issue is that for the same money as the Mazda I was looking at a 2003 BMW with at least 30,000 miles on it.
