MS6 High Flow Cat Racepipe

Just a heads up, we're right on the cusp of releasing a 3" high flow catalyst racepipe for the MS6.

Featuring factory fitment and interchangeability with the factory secondary catalyst pipe in a 3" diameter with 200 cell bullet catalyst, the CorkSport Power Series Racepipe is made of T304 Polished Stainless Steel tubing and flanges with a 410 Stainless Catalyst housing. All connections on the racepipe are TIG welded (catalyst canister is stainless MIG welded from the manufacturer) for strong, long lasting connections that look great.

Attached is a quick photo of the first unit hot off the welding table. We're shooting for a $279 price point.

Keep this in mind when that tax return comes - the high flow benefits of a large diameter racepipe as well as the environmental and olfactory benefits of a catalyst! Good times.

would we possibly be able to get some sound clips if this makes a difference in the tone of the exhaust?

and perhaps a dyno chart?

Very nice looking piece. So rather than the straight thru test pipe/racepipe this keeps a second cat in the system, meaning it should run cleaner, but with a bit smaller increase in performance? What about those of us with the stock downpipe, will the 3" pipe be wasted on us?

We do not have a dyno chart, but if we have a customer in the area who purchases one we'll gladly do a before/after dyno comparison. Same with sound clips. I'm not going to run a brand new catalyst for a sound clip. If I can get a stock vehicle owner interested in purchasing one, I'll do a before/after on that.

From our experience with the MZR powered vehicles, compared to stock, even without a downpipe or a catback, you will certainly see an improvement when opening any part of the exhaust up for higher flow.

Your 'Power Series' Racepipe offers "Reasonated" or "High Flow Catalyst". How will the 'Power Series' Racepipe with "High Flow Catalyst" be different then this one other than it being $20 cheaper.

You guys must have read my mind! With my corksport downpipe and resonated midpipe I am suffocating walking behind the car with it running. Been meaning to buy a straight 3" tespipe and having a exhaust shop weld in the cat. Glad you guys finally came out with this. ;)

Oh yeah, and would this mate up properly to an otherwise stock DP/exhaust system? If I do make any changes to the exhaust, I think it would just be a racepipe and I keep seeing threads about poor fitment from many manufacturers.

I'd prefer to keep the cat over the resonated pipe assuming 1) it sounds as good, and 2) there isn't a major reduction in performance.

So when the catted racepipe is chosen as part of your TBE system, . . . does this replace the primary cat for OBD monitoring . . . & does the cat prevent throwing CEL's?

Cheers

Any feedback on this piece? I'm interested but I haven't seen much info from people who have installed it. Good gains? Clean fitment?
