MS3 vs. 09 Mustang GT, any bets?

Im stock, my friend's 09 gt is also stock, we're betting money, 40 roll, what are my odds?
after we're both installing bolt ons, mine is just a cobb sri and hks bov, his: intake, pulleys, x-pipe, diablo sport, 3.73 gears, we're gona have a rematch, do i stand a chance? (jerkit)

Stock for Stock I would say drivers race. But with those mods, Mustang gt should take it for sure. Unless your a great driver and he has no skill at all, and i mean zero skill haha. Should run at a track.

Is his mustang manual or auto, if auto i say stock you got him but manual then he has you. Stock the stang has more hp and torque but is like 200 lbs heavier. As far as racing after themods he should have no problem taking you unless he has no skill like charlessss said.

his stang is stick, he's a good driver, ive been in the car with him many times, but idk, i feel his car slow, well ive been in a 900whp porsche so my definition of speed has changed

haha yea id say after a 900 whp monster but the thing that may help you is the weight of that stang, ive yet to mess with one so i have no clue, i am going strictly off stock specs that i read.

find a local who has HT tuner and borrow it, reflash a few days before the event and I'm sure you'll take him! Without it, you'll run out of RPM and top end to soon.

I had an 08 or 09 pull up beside me just yesterday, waited for a few seconds and then he floored it, no beeps or anything. I caught on, downshifted into 4th and after shifting into 5th pulled ahead of him. After a few seconds of going over 100mph i chickened out and hit my brakes but I was still ahead of him when I did, lol.

A GT with the mods he has should have no problems outrunning your car. I suppose he just can't drive it, like most people
