MS3 + Used Miata or S2000?

Okay so lets try this again without the flame war (flame2) shall we...

As most of you know I've been considering possibly trading in my MS3 for a S2000 in about 1.5yrs time. However, upon farther discussion quite a few members have pointed me in the direction of getting a used Miata instead while keeping the MS3 which sounds like a kick ass idea. My only issue with this is that will the Miata be a pain in the ass to maintain since I would be buying one used? See if I went with the S2000 I would get a certified used one with not too many miles on the clock. Plus I'm pretty confident in the S2000's ability to stand the test of time where's the Miata.... Not so sure
All this said, I really like the Mazdaspeed3 it's just that I've been making a few extra pennies and absolutely love cars. To me the MS3 is an awesome daily driver / fast, sporty and very usable vehicle but sometimes I find myself wanting something a tad more focused if you know what I mean.

def, go with ms3 and miata.. that way you can enjoy the best of both worlds.. ms3 and RWD 2 seater..

Once you go Honda you may not come back. Buy the Miata. then you can still hang on our forum. Once you switch up...well next thing you know its all about Vtec and B16s, H22s, K20s, Hondata 1.6 1.8 2.0 2.2 jeez!

For the 12 years I owned my Miata, the only $$ spent were on regular maintenance and mods!! Now that my oldest sons is around the corner from being able to drive, I am giving serious consideration to giving him the SUV and buying a used Mazdaspeed Miata.

supposidly there is talk of a new mazdaspeed miata using the same engine with less turbo. I don't have the article, but it was supposed to run 240+hp and maintain a similar weight the current car. I think the current car is at 2600 lbs (probably more now, its so big and bulky compared to the 1st gen).


Btw, Same engine as the MSP 3/6, just needed to clarify.
