Anyone have the Mazdaspeed Sport Springs for the MS3? What do you think? Worth the cost? Also is alignment needed along with the install?

i had alignment done after install - worth the price for the springs...... id say No but depending on what kind of drop you are looking for. If its only a slight drop from stock then yeah go ahead but if you want it to look dropped then these springs wont work for you.
i got my springs second hand so didnt pay full price for them so i dont mind as they were cheap but im heading towards coilovers anyway, once i start saving that is

I was also torn when buying my springs to go the MazdaSpeed route, but then I saw them in person and decided against it. The ride is much improved, but if visuals are what you are going for, look elsewhere, as it was very difficult to notice the drop.

I went ahead and got the road magnet springs. They give the car a lowered stance (1.1 inch drop), but still allow it to be comfortable as a daily driver. I have yet to scrape the front bumper or bottom out, and I was sure I'd have issues and the ride, which while stiffer, is still comfortable.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Does changing your springs void the warranty??

If you go with the mazdaspeed springs.. no

If you go with the mazdaspeed springs and have Mazda install them, they become part of the car and are actually covered under the cars warranty.

If you go with another companies springs and something else on your suspension fails... Mazda could be really bitchey about it and attempt to decline you warranty work on the suspension.

would mazda install springs that are not part of there company ...like H & R???

The Service Writer at my dealer says that the Mazdaspeed Springs are made by Eibach and are just powdercoated green. I would imagine if that's true (and that's questionable) that they are the pro-kit springs and not the sport lines.
