I have a 2005 STi. It is very very fast and tight. However, it has springs, intake, ftb exhaust, and tuned. I just returned from my first track event. The car is stronger than I thought. But, it beats me to death as a daily driver.
That being said, I am also looking at the MS3. There is not alot of room in the STi. The MS3 has as much or more. The MS3 is more refined than previous mazdas. I was not impressed with the breaks on the MS3. I expecteed more there. I also thought the torque steer was a bit pronounced.
All in all the MS3 is a very good vehicle. I noticed little to no turbo lag and it had a very smoothe power band.
I am deciding to sell the STi and get one or just keep the STi.
