MS3 Oil Filter Housing Question

Do the spin-on conversion and what you save on filters will pay for it pretty quick.

Not sure why some push the spin on, IMO not worth the change over. The stock set up works just fine....

I think having a spin on would be slightly less messy during changes and allow you to run a larger filter, but I've heard the install on the spin on conversion is a b****. Is this true?

I do all my own oil changes and don't have any issues with mess, or anything else....

spin on conversion isnt that bad, hardest part would be removing the 15mm bolt on top of the housing, more so because you can't see it and can only feel for it.
i did this on the weekend and added a fumoto oil drain valve

As did I. The installation isn't much worse than a CAI or RSB. I followed someone's advice and used a stubby ratcheting box-end on the oil cooler bolt. That made disconnecting the oil cooler pretty easy. Hardest part for me was removing/replacing the oil pressure switch. I like being able to use a larger filter (B3000 truck filter).
