MS3 insurance question

3200 a year, 18 years old, 2 tickets, on state farm, with multi vehicle and no accident discounts haha, imagine it without my discounts!!!! but its suppose to go down 400 bucks when i turn 19!! hell yea

just think what you could do with an extra $3200 every year; holy c-rap.

I pay just over $600 a year with USAA -- multi-car/house/married/2 kids/36/0 tickets (knock on wood); sometimes it's good to be older.

$176 a month 21. no kids. not married. two tickets an a accident about 3years ago in my ford ranger. i think my insurance went up $40 from my 3 to the speed3. not too bad i guess... could be a lot worse. the only tickets i ever had were one for speeding in the ranger. an on in the 3. you end up learning to drive the limit after a few tickets..

That rate seems in the ballpark, but yeah ... getting some quotes from other car insurance companies is the best way to tell if you are paying too much or not.

1300 for a full year, arbella is the company, 23 - married. Full coverage

Funny thing is its 1800 a year for my wifes 08 corolla...

i am 20 and i pay 2400 a year for the speed, 95 jeep cheeroke sport and my 04 yamaha r6 (naughty)

I'm 42, on Esurrance, $552 for 6 months. No tickets, no claims. My car is a lease, so I have to carry higher than normal liability limits.

This doesn't make sense. You're only required to carry comp/colll, liability limits arn't an issue with a lease.

I'm 25, I pay 650 every six months. comp/100, coll/250 and 100/300/100 liab limits.
Like Kain said, there is much more taken into consideration than just your record. Pa is such a breeding ground for residency insurnace fraud because so many people from new york or Jersey just don't feel they need to pay their higher premiums. If i lived in Jersey, I'd be paying almost 1100. Big Increase. Imagine the family with two vehicles and a minivan. Fraud almost seems worth it. It's all based on the insurance laws for the state. Also, If you carry minimum limits and go into a state where minimum limits are higher than the state you live in, you're automatically bumped up to their limits. Insurance is tricky.

$1200 a year on State Farm, full coverage, few tix in the past, none too recent. insurance "sees" me living with the parents and siblings, massive multicar disount ftw

no one beat me :)

Dude i cant imagine what id do with the extra money. insurance was 1200 per 6 months when i had my stang, and i thought it was bad then, 400 more just makes it worse

Wow, reading all these actually makes me feel good about my coverage! However, as it was said before, you need to look at age, replacement cost of vehicle, credit, tickets, state/city/town, single/married, multicar, average annual mileage and such. My $414 every 6 months with Progressive on a Speed6 looks mighty nice!

It looks like I gotta get married and have kids.

Um, no. You'll be spending MUCH more than the money you'll be saving on car insurance, trust me. Day care = $12,000 a year for me, not including $200+ a month for diapers and food, plus cloths and the shoes they grow out of every 6 weeks. How'd this turn into a kids thread? lol Stay single/no kids. Let see, $15,000+ a year to take care of a kid vs spending $1,000 or so more per year on car insurance. Not even close! But they are tax deductions!

It pays to be older and ticket free. I pay $280 every six months for full coverage on my Speed 3. State Farm multi car and home owners discounts apply with $500 deductable.

Take that you young whippersnappers.
