Nothing on the car was free, it's all part of what Mazda charges for it.

WagonMan said:Agreed, everything on the car is built into the price. I guess once you wear out the tires then you have utilized the value you paid and then you can upgrade to something better.
Or you can be stupid like me and upgrade the stock tires after 500km and have a perfectly good set of Bridgestone RE050A tires in the basement.
Hikaru9 said:lol~ my OEM tires had 26 miles before I switched them out. I can't call the Bridgestones "garbage" since I didn't get any use out of them, but as someone stated above, I feel that there are better performing tires to be had for much less money. I love my Pirellis, and I'll probably try a set of Kumhos next. *^_^*
h0rde said:...the 050As...probably only last 20,000 miles before they become downright dangerous on wet roads...

(stupid)h0rde said:I am also apparently stupid...I've got the same tires in my basement with about the same mileage on them. I hope to be able to sell them for something, but it's such a weird size I wonder if I can even eBay them...
I've already agreed with you once, but to reiterate, I agree. F1GSD3s ftw. Also years of Formula 1 watching have given me an intense hatred of Michelin, so they're right out.WagonMan said:That is a good tirerack test. I think for the money the Goodyears F1GSD3 is a great choice. It is a lot cheaper then the Michelin PS2 and has the best wet performance.
