Hi
I have an option to buy a 1st gen MS3 bumper cover.
It is a 2DR bumper cover and i have the 4DR.
1 - Is there even a 2DR MS3? :)
2 - If there is, are the bumper covers the same?

Thanks
Lawrence

Great thanks. The bumper cover I am looking at is used, so has a few scratches on. Anyone have a good idea of an estimated price for sanding and painting the bumper cover. Should I go to Mazda to ensure 100% paint match? My car is the 2008 crystal white pearl mica. I am trying to gauge if I should by a more expensive new one that is primed, but will not need sanding vs buying a used one that needs sanding and painting.

Thanks!

even a new bumper will need a certain amount of prep work prior to paint. shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred to get it painted, especially if you do all the prep work yourself. test fit it to the car first, then strip off all removeable parts, then do all the taping. after its ready to go, take it to the shop and have them clean and paint it.

Back in the day I had a mitsu dealer quote me $600 to paint a bumper cover for my old talon. Non-dealer body shops quoted about $300 for some fender repaints. I'd estimate $400 for a body shop to redo a bumper cover. This is something that is pretty easily quoted over the phone as well.

Going to the Mazda store would be a very good decision. You know that they are very aware when it comes to their car that's why going there is the nicest thing you should do. I'm sure they would be the best provider of bumper cover for your car.
