MS3-Bose easier or harder to upgrade then Sport?

I am still on the fence between the sport and GT and I know all the differences and most options I could take or leave. What I am wondering is the Bose system with the AMP already under the Seat easier to add a more powerful amp.

This brings up a couple questions,
On the sport, does the car have the wiring harness for the boss system under the seat just not connected to an amp and is it connected to the HU so it would be live to add an amp there?

I've read the hardest part of putting in new speakers is running the wire thru the doors, on the GT, could you get away with using the existing wires with say a True 75x4 AMP(2 Ohm stable). Could you get away using the power wire for the bose amp to power a true 75x4 AMP. I'm not a huge Sound Quality fanatic, but I like my music crazy loud, with just a bit of thump and no distortion, I listen to oldies and rock mostly.

So if I'm understanding what I read in the post correctly and assuming using the stock speaker wires and Power wire are plausible, then hooking up an amp would literally just be to remove the seat. Remove the bose amp and wire in your new whatever you chose amp, something with line-level inputs would even stop you from having to use a LOC. If this is True, then I'm gonna get the GT, even if I don't upgrade right away, I'll be adding a powered Alpine sub and I'm sure the bose sounds better then the sport for awhile anyway.

This is the sub I already ordered, not from them through.

For those of you with GT's who have added a sub, with the bass turned down on the HU, can u get pretty loud without distortion?

Or if you don't have a sub, if you turn down the bass, can you go pretty loud before it starts to distort.

Oh one more thing, I was talking to someone on another board who said to never use that automatic volume leveling in the HU, it really hurts sound quality, at least that's what he said, he said when it was on, his mid-range was muddy and off, very much better. He had an 07 3, not speed3. Try it, see if it sounds better.

Well sorry so long(encourage , but appreciate any info,
Tom

i would go with the non bose if you are going to to just upgrade you are better off starting with a un f-ed with signal the bose is tuned to make the bose speakers sound good with x rated power if you put more power and different speakers in it then you should look into getting jls clean sweep or the rf 3sixty or whatever its called... i suggest no bose if you are going to upgrade and if you like it loud please don't forget about sound deadening!!

I've had the auto-leveling on the whole time I've gotten the car - I didn't realize it lessens the quality of the sound.
