haha yes that is a great thing....they can tell all their insurance companies how ALL mazda drivers (especially 3/ms3 drivers) are safe and should get lower rates!

The port (actually the holding facility - the cars come up from Houston by rail) is about a mile away from my house. The only time I see the new Mazdas is when they are on the trucks going out. I get excited every time I see a new 3. I have only seen one MS3 on the truck and only one on the road. I want one but I can't afford the 3i I have now.

I don't have an MS3 yet, however I should have one on order as soon as the dealership I'm going through sends me the proper documentation for the deposit... Currently, the one that is being "built" so he says, will be to my specifications. My wife has the Mazda3s; we got that back in 05, and we love it! I want to throw 18s on there, but she's like uh, not now..yeah right, we'll see! haha!!

As far as I know - and I did a lot of research - there is no sunroof option. I had a Mazda certified expert - or whatever they call them - tell me they wont do that on an MS3. It messes with the integrity of the body when at high speeds.

I was bummed because I wanted one. I have the grand touring, and a 6 disc changer, and all the bells and whistles except the navigation. So I would think you'd have to go somewhere and get a sunroof put in aftermarket.

I have the homelink mirror - it's a good deal because they charge the cost you'd buy it from the manufacturer, but you don't have to pay to get it installed.

The Sirius radio, also I have to admit, is nice. I didn't want it, but the car I bought had been ordered with it.

Wow, well thanks for the heads up. I wonder why did he mention that I could get the sun roof option but it came with the 6 disc changer...weird, i hope the 08 models come with sun roofs.... I think that's bs with the "integrity" at highspeeds. My wifes 3(hatch) has a sun roof, and there hasn't been any problems with it...yet. It's not like we're going to be driving insane speeds where it'll break/weaken the frame? Well, I'm happy about one thing, I got mine ordered!! Yeya! Now the guy at the dealer mentioned that it'll be from 3-4 months now instead of the 2-3 that he mentioned last time? Hm.... well we'll see. Thanks for the heads up, bro I appreciate it. So how you diggin that homelink option? I opted to not get it since i don't have an auto garage mechanism.

You must be getting the grand touring because of the 6 disc changer - it's definitely worth the upgrade - the driving info, leather, bose system...

The homelink thing is pretty handy - I only have one use for it now b/c I live in an apartment and use it for the gate. When I get a house I'll program it to turn on the front lights and such.

Hey now! lol! I ordered my MS3 w/ sunroof, and the dealer had no problems throwing that on there. i told the dealer if order doesn't come as i had ordered, i won't take it. simple as that. We'll see though.
I suppose i can always get that homelink thing some other time, i just don't see myself using it in the near future. Glad it works out for you though!
