ms cai came installed on my speed3, wanting to know how to remove filter to clean

Turn the driver side wheel all the way towards the car. pull the mud guards off the inside of the fender, it has like 2 or 3 clips. Remove the screw that holds the corner of the bumper on. Pull the corner of the bumber off a bit and you should be able to reach right in there and get the filter element. BTW, the screw that hold the bumper on is right here..

I have yet to clean my filter, I need to do it soon. I've had it on the car for 15k miles. Hopefully it is as easy as cleaning a k&n filter. This material seems weird
Thanks a ton dude.....that's gonna make it so much easier. I was just about to change it out, and was dreading getting to it. Nice..

You could just remove the cover underneath and unbolt it from there?

this is so you can avoid jacking the car up. My car is too low to get under and I'm too lazy to jack it up, so I do it this way.
Pick up a filter cleaning kit but you don't have to clean these type of filters as often as you think. Good idea to check them though to see how dirty they are and that the clamp is nice and snug. I've cleaned mine once with 71K on the car.
