MPI Tuner dyno proven@ 400hp

Funny how he replies to other posts but not this one. I just want an answer to what is going on. Also i dont want innocent protege owners to be duped by faulty dyno graphs. That is all.

man..I know the 5252 thing is wierd...but there were like 5 guys there as witnesses...they got video for gods sake..

My first runs on the dyno when I was untuned both cross at 4750.

My latest runs cross at 5250.

Hmmm?

I got all 4 of my dyno runs sitting here as well...Guess where they cross at..
5250...all 4 of them.
I dunno.
I dont care!
I just want to watch that beast in action!
Jesus......I really wish some things were a little more tried and true...I would definately purchase some engine MNGT. once it was tried and true.
Matt

videos or not.... a sound or video cant show true power... only a dyno can show power and if the calculations are wrong then the all the dyno numbers are completely wrong...

where is nick to explain this?

what type of dyno and do you have pics of your dyno sheets?

Dyno was the same dynojet for all of the runs, and you can see pics on my cardomain page on page 2. Link is in my sig.

This is the pull we did at the MPI Dyno day. Here the lines cross around 5,250.

This was at 15psi, open cut out, no cooler spray.

Thanks again

what were the first three dyno sheets then?

were they not done on the dyno day or what ...

its kinda weird the dyno operators would change things midway through runs...

what did they change? I dont think they control when the lines cross...

This is a 14-15 psi pull without the cutout. This is with the stock MSP exhaust system missing the front cat.

Thanks again

they CAN control when the lines cross...
they can change the calculator to make it look like they have more power...
for example... injen... they skew their dynos to look like they make more power... many aftermarket companies do this...
either something was messed up with the other dyno sheets...
and now randomly the numbers cross correct..

seems shady to me

I'm assuming that these you are posting now are some of the 1st runs?
Hello Pat, all the runs have the number on them. Dana was to post all of the files so anyone could use what ever scale they would like to use. This way we would not have anyone thinking anything other ten how great Dean did. How can I upload the file for all three Proteges? Then people can play with them as they would like. They will only find that if they use any other formula Deans pulls will be higher.

Thanks again

man wait until they see the video of the car goin down the track, jealousy is a terrible thing. They will probably say we somehow edited the video. For all you guys who came down to see me run, thanks for the support. I will be at atco this week to throw down some more numbers. for all you none beleivers, come see for yourself as I make some runs with the AC on.
