MP5T Rebuild Photo Journal

yeah, just remember that the stock temp gauge is just a dummy light, once it his the red its already too late... but I'm sure you knew that.

I think the 3 pass will definitely help you, but another puller certainly wouldn't hurt...

ofcourse this is coming from the guy with 1 12" and 2 9" Spal fans, water wetter in the radaitor, etc.... lol

but it does get crazy hot here... 100-110deg 100% humidity in the middle of summer... ugh

It has never gotten past 32 Dec Celcius in the last 54 years..

so I guess thats... 90 F...

yeah, when I was in Montreal last summer I was enjoying the hell out of it... very nice temps. much better than when I arrived back on the plane... I think at takeoff it was like 70deg in Montreal, then arriving back in Tulsa it was 107 deg that day,.... and I was wearing a sweater cause planes are cold. ugh... that SUCKED... I stepped outside and it just hit me.... ugh

No complaints about the summer, it's the winters that bother me.

I wish I lived in a place that never required me to put my car away for 6 Months...

dude at least you have an option to put your car away. I have to drive my car over the winter, and think of the headaches when the spring comes... By now i am already like ah another paint chip, so what... ah another scratch so what. Ah my front bumper looks like s*** so what... The list goes on. Somehow the car manages to still look presentable after a nice detailing job which supprises the hell out of me...

Then come to Vegas Baby..... then you'll complain about the summer, go ahead, get a FMIC, still won't help when the temps rolling off the ground are like 125 degrees. The only time you get cooler air is at night, but then again that air is like 85 degrees and dry oh is the air here DRY......we do live in the middle of a desert (wow)

I fell for you both Johnny and Brian! Here in calgary it gets HOT in the summer (Like 35*C sometimes) and it's dry as hell. I live in a goddamn dustbowl. But also in the winter, you gotta put the car away cause it's like 4 months of snow and COLD ass temps. (Like -30) and they use not jsut gravel on the roads here, but ******* boulders to keep it sanded. I'm not gonna subject my P5 to that kinda damage thanks. Once April rolls around an the gravel gets swept off by the sweepers, the nice cars come back out again. Not many people here drive their phat whips in the winter...

Winter was invented by clothing companies...

That and car bodyshops. Althouhg direct sunlight is also not the best thing for the car finish....

Brian do you have stock or aftermarket cams? If you have stock cams do you plan on upgrading??

Ther is no reason to change Cams on any Turbo Car...

Check Maximum Boost
great book, nut lots of stuff are outdated. And yes, there are reasons to change cams on turboed or non-turboed cars. Just look at the Evo which bogs a lot at mid rpm, with upgraded cams, no more bogging
