MP5T Rebuild Photo Journal

dude, watching this engine rebuild for some reason makes me think of Initial D, especially when listening to some Initial D music!!! That is some amazing work you did there. Can't wait to see it when it is all done.

It's a dumb hobby, but more constructive than drinking or smoing...(naughty)

I gave up on pretty other than my wiring.. polishing takes to friggen long!!! So glass bead and wire wheels are my weapons of finishing and that's good enough! LOL... but damn yours is sexy! I figure 2 or 3 races and mine will look like hell again anyway so oh well! Damn rubber and brake dust!

But there is NOOOO doubt as to how much insane time and craftsmanship Brian has got going on... major props man!

Thanks,

I get alittle pissed when I see a real nice car that isn't maintained, or meeting a person who has a "wickid" car and can't tell me anything more techincal than it has a CAI and a "Flowmaster Cat Back" without even knowing what a "Cat" is...(shrug)

I have literally seen every part that makes up a Protege.(cryhard)

The Engine is Done. I have to go on the weekend and put the parts together and time it. The Balance was required according to the Balance guy. The stock crank is out alot for the direct bolt on of rods and pistons that were not OEM...

iT WILL SCREAM TO A NEW REDLINE OF 7300 RPM (cool)

What mods did you do that you are working toward that number? I'm ignorant to that point that's all. I didn't know if you did valve springs or just the longer rods or what all was the deal.

Later!

7300, whoo! =) The stock FS-ZE overseas runs up to it's 7k redline with no problems, so 7300 is no big jump, but it'll be enough! =)
