MP5 Bump Stops

I'm new to the forum; I've been looking all over for a good answer to this question: protegetech.com recommends purchasing a set of MP3/MSP bump stops when installing lowering springs on an MP5. I'll be putting in a set of Progress springs (1.5" all around) on my MP5, and want to know if I should buy those stops, trim the existing stops, or leave them alone altogether. Appreciate any feedback. I promise I'll post some pics afterward... doesn't seem like anyone's ever posted pics of a Progress-lowered MP5.

I'd leave it AS IS. If you were installing coilovers it is recommended...

i would say not to cut your bump stop or even waste your time changing them, if your lowering it 1.5 inches.
if you go any lower than 2.25 than you sould go ahead and cut the bump stop in half. hope it helps peace, mike
