I know some of you have discussed the squeaking noise associated with the suspension of the MP3s. I bought mine with 11K miles on it and from the first day I had it, whenever I went over speed bumps the rear suspension squeaked pretty loudly. It wasnt enough to bother me because it only occurred when going over speed bumps. I now have 45K miles on it and out of the blue it started squeaking all of the time...even turns and minor road bumps. I called Mazda and they wanted $49.99 to "diagnose" it, which wouldnt include any type of fix. I called Jiffy Lube and they told me to bring it in. They sprayed some kind of grease up in the suspension (took the guy less than 5 minutes) and so far the squeaking is all gone. They didnt even charge me. Anyway, just wanted to let the others of you know that at least in my case it was a very inexpensive and easy fix. We'll see how long it lasts. And by the way, I know many of you say the sqeaking gets worse in the cold...I live in Florida and even I noticed that in the mornings in the winter it was a little worse. Not sure why it got a lot worse all of a sudden now in the heat of the Florida summer.
