Not got my car as yet but wondering if the 6 disc changer also takes DVD's by other cars prviousoy did , i was planning in loading it up with 6 dvd's fll of mp3's

No DVD in the CD player.
Sorry, just use CD-R or better yet, blue tooth if your CX-7 comes with it.
