Traction control is a standard option on the AEM. We haven't configured this option yet. We are mainly focusing on engine performance first. That luxury we will tackle after we are done with the rest of the R&D. It can be uploaded at any time into the unit via file transfer from my email to the enduser if need be.Turbo Matty P said:nick (the cool one, not the instigator), how do you plan on creating traction control?? Engine monitoring goingto cut power under slippage???

I will have that price for you on monday.02.5 P5 said:what would it cost for a high flow in tank fuel pump?
perfworks said:I can also have a configured switch for the solenoid. It hasn't been figured into the pricing though. Basically because some people like to keep a steady boost level thruout. And just use throttle position as demand.
It would just require additional tuning time is all.

No problem.mx3ownzj00 said:Awesome, thanks for clearing up the OBDII issue.
Would just running an EBC with Low/High boost settings allow the AEM to run optimum maps for each level, or would I need the solenoid with a switch wired up to instantly switch from low to high boost while maintaining optimum mapping? I just want to be making max power with 2 different levels so I can have conservative/fun settings. I'm slow
EDIT: does the AEM support Mac OS's, or just the Windows platform?
Thanks in advance!![]()
No need for an FMU with the AEM. Do the right thing and get larger injectors.Zooooooooooom said:
I know there are lots of things that could go wrong with the turbo install itself, but if possible i'd rather wait, and not risk my engine blowing up because i install the FMU wrong or something stupid, and just install the AEM unit and be able to drive away knowing my car is running fine.
YESI Order your unit, install all the rest of my miscellaneous turbo goodies (minus the FMU and O2 modifier) and plug your parallel system in and drive away?

For most turbo kits, I thought they used the FP O2 voltage clamp, which I'm guessing would come out also?
The AEM can deal with on-boost closed loop operation? And make a safe switch to open loop?
Do "loops" even become a real issue with AEM?
I'm just thinking of how the Link works on the Miatas, in that it deals with open loop very effectively, however the O2 voltage clamp is needed to deal with closed loop on-boost stuff...
