MP3 in Northern CA

I was on Highway 99 yesterday and I saw a yellow mp3 with a bra on the front and a Mazda Sticker on the upper part of the front wind shield. Was it anyone here?

i would just like to say that i have never seen a yellow one in northern cali but defintley a boat load of blue ones. What part of northern cali are you from? I live just north of sac... Just curious.

Yup yup, I have seen 2-3 blue ones but not yellow. My friend told me that he had seen a yellow on parked in Sacramento City College parking. I may go there and check that out sometime.

Hey yeah man we could meet up or something, Maybe when you come down to Fresno. I don't know where your located at but yeah come down and there's alot of team's out on Mooney's blvd on Saturday night's, the crew names are (ISR) import street racers, Team Downshift, one 4 one, Gridline, 559 riders, team 1320, modernperformance, beyond performance, JDM, Biohazard and more. It's in Visalia Cali, 28-35miles from Fresno but i tell ya, there's alot of racers out there. So if you want gimme your # or whatever and on Saturday you could go check it out. By the way where are you located at????????????????????????????????????

I live in South Lake Tahoe, and have the yellow MP3. It might of been me because my girl is from Modesto, and her familiy still lives in Turlock, I drive the 99 constently. I'm the only one with a Yellow MP3, never even seen a blue one, yet, but some jerk wanted an MP3, and all they had was a yellow P5, so now I have to share the spotlight, oh well, cause mine is limited production, and his is mass production. O.K. since we have so many of us living so close, I propose we get together, and see about starting a Northern Cali MP3 club, or MAZDA club. What do you think??

N. Cali Meet

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many owners in N. California. I'm in Walnut Creek (about 30 minutes east of San Francisco). I've seen one blue MP3 driving around in the Pleasant Hill/Concord/Walnut Creek area besides mine, a few times, but it'd be cool to have a N.California meet.

I don't know about driving to far but just got back from Spokane,Washington state. I was on Vacation, and put like an extra 2500miles back and forth. Me and my Father drove up there to Visit My Grandma and it took about 16-18hour drive straight, we both switched on and off. But too many miles on the MP3 though, just shy of 20,000miles. Hey but anyways (Modern-Performance) is having a car show down here in Hanford,Cali on August 3rd 2002, prepare is at 7A.M. - 9A.M. and Start is at 9A.M.-2P.M. There giving out Trophies for best Import, Best domestic, Best Honda,Acura,Toyota, Mitsubishi..etc and also having a Burnout contest just as well as ladies Swimsuit Contest but has to be over 18Yrs.

(SWIMSUIT CONTEST)

First place $150.
2nd Place $100.
3rd Place $50.

And also Q97 is going to be there D.J. the Musics they'll have food and fun stuff also. It's only $10 per vehicle.

One more in N. Cal

Hi all! I recently bought a yellow one all the way from Massachusetts. So I am officially a new yellow MP3 owner. Very excited I have to say. Still need to register it at DMV next week though. I am located in Fremont, but also active in San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area. I actually have seen 3 yellow ones in the Bay Area excluding mine, and a blue one that is located somewhere close to where I live. It was driven by a young Asian lady as I saw her driving to work a couple times. It shocked me quite a bit the first time I saw that blue one around March or April, as it didn't have any license plate on. And I thought the MP3s were long sold out. The funny thing is, months later, I find myself driving one just like that

Density

Wow! We must have the highest density of MP3's anywhere in the country! That's funny that you drove to Seattle, because that's where I bought mine, then drove it to California when I moved here. And it REALLY racks on the miles quick! Thought about going back for the holidays, but at the cost of over 2,000 miles, I'll just fly.

We should meet at that place in San Mateo in late August or September before it starts raining so we can get good pictures.

Hey everyone lets all meet up at like a restraunt or some place before the Import Revolution in San Mateo August 31st. Then we can all see what everyone has done to their cars and we could all go like cruise down the highway together to the show. It'd be cool could you imagine what all the people would be thinking. Because most people have never even seen an mp3 much less 10 or more of them. I'm for sure going to the San Mateo Import Revolution. I couldnt go to HIN because my prom was that night.
