MP3 gas

what type of gas does a Protege mp3 require. ???
i have been running unleaded. is that ok?

you cant even get leaded gas anymore cant you?

MP3 ecu is recommended for 91. i believe if you put in less octane it will pull timing(less performance and fuel mileage).

i have done it once or twice and im not sure if there are any negative effects of running less octane fuel constantly.

I bet he means regular. I'd also suspect that the car will run perfectly fine on it unless you are a WOT kinda of a driver. Then you might observe a difference in performance. I've used regular on several occasions and observed no decrease in performance or mpgs.

well i have the ecu and a standard es protege. and i like the ecu but gas prices are killing me with how much i have to drive

well running 87 octane with the MP3 ecu gives you no benefit over the stock ecu.
