Mp3 ECU in Auto p5

Will this work? I thought the trannies were controlled by seperate computers. I also thought i heard someone had done it. Info is realy appreciated since i am on the verge of getting one.

I don't think so. I thought that the ecu controlled the tranny, I could be wrong.

nope will not work. mp3 ecu tuned for manual, not auto.

its not just the tranny that is the difference, there are other aspects that would make it not work well

The header though would do wonders for you.
The advanced timing for the auto tranny would give you a nice torque range.
