i am looking for a condo to buy so i can rent it out. this place 2 miles from me www.enclavemiramar.com is a condo conversion. i am almost ready to get a 1/1 there. (problem is, the drawing to buy one is on the 4th of june and i allready made plans to go to busch gardens that day with my club(argh) )

I lived in Tampa most of last year. Swore I'd never live in Florida again. Not that it was that bad. Just sour feeling about getting laid offf.

Miami isn't a whole other state. It's a whole other f'n country.

theres some condos here down the street from me thatre selling them for 140k 2/2. $1000 down AND they give you $8000 cash at closing for renovating. 2 of my buddies just bought a condo each. they just finished fixing theirs up and now they had it appraised for 180k. its a good investment too

lol, i've only been in miami for less than a year, and i was living on a campus but i can attest to the crime and negative attitudes. everything and everyone is superficial. but it's still a good time.

i was lucky enough to find a 4-bedroom house in Coral Gables for $450/mo (per person). of course it's a lease cuz i'm a college student.

I don't like miami, no thats not it, I HATE Miami. Particularly South Beach. A few buddies and I went down there two years ago for, during the one week that we were there, my friend's car was vandalized(Of all of the Ferrari's and Lambos, they had to pick an M3), our stuff was stolen on the beach, we had to beat off a few wild queers, most topless women were old and fat, there were a few good looking ones but they were outnumbered 1:25 by queers. Not a great experience.

The weirdest thing about it to me is that EVERYONE it seems from Miami comes to FSU (Tallahassee, Land of the rampant redneck) and then proceeds to tell us all how GREAT Miami is.

And they all drive like poop.
