boostisfun357 said:well yesterday I didn't have much to do so I finished the install and took some pics. For some reason the camera wouldn't focus quite right so I'll have carbonkid use his 10 megapixel camera to take better ones either tonight or sometime this week. again these are prototypes, I'm thinking I'd like to completely redo the switches, possibly use a different type of switch all together. I am please with the results, I just want perfection
carbonkid said:Looks good, but your dimmer switch is upside down. Whatever you want me to do to them, (dremel new ones, makes new labels, etc) we can do it...let me know.
I thought about that as a possibility but to replace that piece if I were to mee up I'm guessing is a lot more $$ then a blank switch. good luck and post up some pics of the finished product when your donespeedprotegewi said:mine are gonna go in the center console just below the shifter plate in the plastic that goes around the e-brake handle. i'll post pics in a couple weeks when im done
boostisfun357 said:to be honest I'm not too sure. obviously it's an ecu reset switch so either way I flip the switch and it should reset the ECU right? maybe someone else can correct me.
I was kinda hoping you'd chime in. Thanks for the info. Although with all the wiring issues many have had with the UC, do you think this might be one of them?JDM Sam said:supposed to be on all the time.

yeah I got it. I read through the install manuel shortly after my last post and fixed it. Aparently I was resetting my ECU everytime I drove my car, but we're all better now. thanks for the post though. If you wish to reset the Unichip, you pull the key out of the Ignition and turn the ECU switch off for 10 mins then turn on and start the car.
a label maker. no seriously it's a little like typewritter that you type in what you want the label to read and hit print. shoot carbonkid a pm and ask him what brand his is and where he got it as he did mine for me. I think you should be able to get them at Wal-mart or Target or a store that's similarRally Ninja said:How do you make the labels? I just took all 3 of the covers and put a carbon fiber panel and mounted the switches to their but i need Labels!!
