so I went to the track and raced my car and noticed how bad the wheelhop was. I still ran a decent time 14.3 @ 99mph with a 2.2 60 ft wheel hopping the whole way almost. I been doing some research on mm and I still don't know what would be the best one. What brand do you guys recomend and what durometer? I don't mind a little vibes to get rid of most of the wheel hop. My buddy has a focus with vf engineering mounts and its like getting a back massage when your in his car, thats too much.

by the way what should these cars run stock?? because I have seen anywhere from 14.0 to 14.6

If you don't mind vibes, awr 80 is the stiffest mount, but I read somewhere that some people broke them at the track. There is an almost solid mount that will be sold pretty soon at protege garage I think. I have the su 62 mount and it works great.

Vibes are barely noticeable, and mostly when the ac is on. Wheel hop is basically completely eliminated, but you can still get some if you launch to hard. Since I got it, I go to the track almost every week, and got wheel hop only once in a couple of months of track use.

i tore my 70 AWR at the track, then tried a 80. it didnt break, but it did nothing for the wheel hop. the competition mounts from PG (released late this month) are the best thing for wheel hop. i have both the poly and solid version and they work wonders.

they both add some vibs. the solid is obviously a little more harsh. i have abused both and they are equally tough. the wheel hop is greatly reduced.
the drivetrain is really locked in now. shifting is smooth as butter, even at WOT ! we tested and compared this mount to EVERY other option on the maket. both versions out perform the competition it terms of stability. and the poly version is surprisingly mellow.

I can't wait, I will get the poly one most likely!!! thanks guys!!
and it's coming out end of August right??
