motor mount question

I need some help....I changed my oil the other day and noticed that my rear motor mount bolt that goes horizontially through the mount and tranny is loose and the threads are starting to strip. Figures its a medieval mount. My problem is that I need to know if there is a bolt that i can get from lowes or home depot that will fit and be the right size. If so does anyone know the correct size bolt to use?

My dealer got my a bolt next day when I needed one. Was not too much $. I would also look to see if the mount failed, too.

I wouldn't get one from a local hardware store unless you're 100% sure it's made from graded steel. I would get a high-grade bolt from McMaster Carr or another source that has grade 8 (10.9 in metric) or higher fasteners. I have seen scary things happen with the mystery "gray metal" fasteners you typically find in regular stores.

Ahmen on that. McMaster Carr had a replacement for the shock mount that is included on the MS CAI 2.0. The one that was included in my kit had a bad spot weld and broke as soon as I used it >.<. Luckily they had one that was the same threading, same stud length, the rubber was a bit smaller, but it was a much higher grade rubber that had a much better set of tolerances for shearing forces.
