With my 2015 CX-5 Touring FWD 2.5L, my HTC One-M8 would work for awhile, then stop working until I would totally delete the pairing, then repair the Infotainment and the phone, and it'd work again for a couple weeks.

Recently I upgraded to the new Moto X Pure, running Lolipop v5.1.1.

Everything bluetooth and text seems to work, but, no email is coming through.

Moto X Pure v5.1.1 doesn't use the normal default Android email reader, all email from any source is configured using the Gmail reader. I'm wondering if this is the issue, that it's using the GMail reader and not the normal Android email program, thoughts??

If that is the issue, is there a way to get the infotainment center to recognize email that is configured via the GMail reader instead of the normal Android email reader??

I thought the Moto X Pure was going to be the fix for losing the Text to speech option, but, sadly, same as the HTC One-M8, it worked for awhile, then stopped working.

Marshmellow should be out soon, maybe that will help. :-/

I think it has to do with previous versions of Android used the Android default mail application. Now with Version 6(Marshmellow), it forces all email to be setup through the GMAIL application, including all non-gmail email. So, I'm thinking the Infotainment isn't recognizing the GMAIL as email, but, I don't see how to make anything else my default email handler.

Any suggestions??

No one else is having issues with eMail using Android Marshmallow and their pre-2016 Infotainment center, or no one knows how to fix it?? Sadly, my Mazda dealer doesn't know how to fix it either.
