Most bang for the buck mod??

Anyone have any experience with what mods to do first on a 6s?

All cars have "bottlenecks"... just wondering what it is on our cars?

With newer designs in exhaust and intke, a simple exhaust or air filter upgrade sometimes doesn't do anything for performance. How about a chip?

Well there are very few specific items for the 6s so far. I think the K&N drop-in would probably be the best until Injen & AEM release their CAI's. There are no exhausts that are specific yet. Also, Diablo & Superchip have something planned for a chip, but nothing concrete right now...

A guy on ebay has/had muffler set-ups for sale that bolted on right where the stockers do. IMHO, they looked good, and didn't seem too expensive (around $290 w/shipping). What I wouldn't give for a chip. The poor car is being hamstrung

You won't have to wait much longer. Diablo & Superchips are currently working on one...

I asked about the 6 cylinder... Hopefully it will be a possibility. I can only imagine what type of gains we would get with boost!(laugh)

a super afc and dyno tuning. I've seen it done on a JDM car..but none in us..the air/fuel is horrible on the 6s. prolly unlock 15whp maybe more. safc v2 is 300 and 1 hr tuning is about 75

Have you seen any of these available for the 6 cylinder? If you saw it on a JDM 6, then you saw it on a 4 cylinder, right? What type of gains was seen on the one you saw?

yeah it was 4 cyl....they're all universal for any car..just gotta figgure out wiring...i bought one like this...had some reputable people try to install it..but didn't feel comfortable playing with electronics of a car "so new" so i just sold it....

also forgot about nitrous..that'd be most cost effective mod for pretty much any car.
