Sorry, no MP3 enable, but a few other random things, none really useful. But maybe this will spark others to try to find the magic combo for the MP3 enable, if it exists.
With the key in the ACC position and the radio on:
1) Push and hold the power button, then push the upper SEEK button. All the LCD indicators will come on.
2) Push and hold the power button, then push the CLOCK button. Then, any button you push will be identified in the display.
3) Push and hold the power button, then push the Auto-M button. The sound will come from one corner at a time, RF, LF, LR, RR. This will really freak someone out if you do it to them when they don't know about it.
4) Push and hold the power button, then push Preset 2. It will read out the signal strength of the current station. This will be useful to see if your shark-fin antenna performs as well as the stock one. Do a before and after on several stations, AM and FM.
5) Push and hold the power button, then push SAT. The display then says ANT-ON. I don't know what it means. I could not find an ANT-OFF combo.
6) Push and hold the power button, then push SCAN. The display then says AMP-ON. I don't know what this means either and I wasn't careful enough to tell if it makes a difference in the sound. I could not find an AMP-OFF combo.
7) This one is different. Turn the radio off. Turn the key off. Turn the key back on. Push and hold the power button, then push and hold Clock and Media together for about 2 seconds. This enters diagnostic mode and if your audio system has any trouble codes, it reads them out. If there are no errors, it says no err. If there are some stored codes, they are shown and you can scroll through with seek if there are more than one. The error codes can be cleared when shown by holding the power button and pushing and holding the AUDIO-CONT button for a couple of seconds.
Have fun, and let me know if you find the MP3 enable. (deadhorse
