Moonroof Wind Deflector Installation

Can someone tell me what is involved in the installation of a Mazda OEM moonroof wind deflector? Would prefer to install it myself rather than pay the dealer an arm& leg.

Someone has it and has said that it is only held up by double-sided tape which is bad. Another one has reported that it has disengaged during heavy winds travelling at 55mph. If I were you, I'll take it back. But if you insist, consider yourself warned. Don't tell me that I didn't warn you.

Mazda made it pretty simple, 2 metal angle brackets and 2 philips head screws. Mine has been well over100mph with no problem. If you need I'll take some pics tomorrow. Maybe double sided tape was aftermarket item. MartyD

I have it... along with roof racks. Mine isn't loose or anything driving at 85+.

Mine was dealer installed after market - with no problems so far ! (drinks)

I purchased on from the following link on Ebay on Monday. It is already here and on my car. It appears to be genuine Mazda. It is held on by two angle clips with nuts and bolts. Seems like it will be fairly secure.

I haven't had a chance to drive with it yet though, because I just got it on the car a couple of hours ago.
