not so lucky for you. I was in Mosul for about three months. Before that we were south of bagdad at a place called Iskgordria. Im in 8/101 st ZOOM. What unit is your friend in? They might be here. Thanks for trying to take my mind off the car.

Ummm i forget. I have one friend in the 82nd Airborne 3rd platoon C company.
My other friend sends me letters from 260th QMBN/419th T.C./ 2nd platoon
sooo i don't know what that all means. except the platoon part heh. He's in the army reserves though, he is transportaion driving around trucks.

Youngblood, Are you with hooks, hawks, or kiowa's? Just wondering because I've been trying to get in touch with my buddy in the cav. Thanks, Evan

also, chinnook the 82nd is not a cav unit, its an airborne infantry unit, although they may be all thrown together during the war...where is your buddy stationed stateside? hes more than likely with an ACR unit (armored calvary regiment)...but like i said, you never know during war...im in a heavy artillary unit and we supported the 101st, 4th ID, 3rd ID, 10th Attack Helicopter Regiment, and 41st FA BDE

A comment from a canadian !

Your efforts in Iraq to rid the world of the terrorist monsters do not go unoticed north of the boarder and I am sure I share with others on the board our appreciation and wishes for a safe return.

Yes I know the 82nd is infantry. Youngblood is in the 101st so he is from Campbell. I was asking with birds he was with to determine if he would have a snowballs chance in hell in knowing my buddy. We have 1/17 and 2/17 Cav at Campbell. 1st is Apache's and 2nd is Kiowas. My buddy is with the kiowas. I know the army I've been in 4 years. Thanks for trying to help though! Evan

ok well you know how the units get mixed up during war, sorry i was stickin my nose in...whats your MOS? and how did you escape going overseas?

Im in a longbow unit, I was staionted with 2/17 CAV. Do you know is mos? Because right now all our CAV folks are up in Quyyrah West airfield. About 50 miles south of Mosul. Thats were alot of convoys have been getting hit, on there way to Mosul. Just let me know his name and mos. If you want a address I might be able to help. But Im leaving for Camp Doha in the Morn. So within the next few hours is the best time.

As for the car the police station says that they are going to react the accident. I thought that s*** only happened in movies? Thanks for the support guys.

My mom bumped into my mp3 and put a lil scratch in my bumper and i was pissed. I could only imagine how pist you must be.

At least your moms ok, thats all that really matters. you can always get a new MP3.

my mom (mrs. dumass) did the same thing. she was pasrked behind me and started her car, forgetting she had it in first, took her foot off the clutch and now I have a little circle where the bolt from the license place hit. The kicker is that she wasnt going to tell me, my brother ratted her out!!

I'll take a boost kit!!

It is okay. Get yourself a mp5 and have fun shooting truck drivers and blame it on Suddam. It might just work LOL. Sorry about your luck my friend. Just remeber s*** happens.

I called her today. She says that the passenger side is pretty F***** up. Parts alone around 1600. New headlight, two doors, fender, quarter panel, two rims. I have no idea how that works, what if I want to get differant rims, can I just pay the differance from the insurance company? Some info please guys thanks. s*** its hot as hell here (laugh)
