Crap, I might have to change auto insurance providers, do any cover mods? You aren't covered through Progressive just by changing your ride height.
Did you know Progressive does not insure the following vehicles:
A vehicle which has been substantially modified from its orginal manufactured state for purposes of increasing the speed of acceleration capabilities of the vehicle. The following characteristics would be considered "substantially modified":
* Raised or lowered suspension.
* Steering geometry changed.
* Engine or drive train altered or changed.
* Addition of traction bars.
* Oversized tires.

Any vehicle used for:
* Racing;
* Pickup or delivery of goods including, but not limited to, newspapers, pizza or other food items; or

damn, that sucks. I used to deliver pizzas, I wonder if my insurance was voided(not progressive). No love for the pizza boys, and paperboys/girls of the world.

bulls***, i have progressive and got in "atfault" accident and they covered 1000$ in mod damage w/out even asking anything and i still have progressive today and they know every mod done to my car. they say they will cover 1000 $ in mods w/o an additional fee...

plus they know i have a aftermarket turbo now and paid for one of my pipes to get fixed.... so their goes the engine mod thing....

you need AAA, as i mod my car i just bring in photos and receipts and they add it to my coverage. and i get no harassment about it. they actualy enjoy seeing my car change

does your premium increase at all? i can do that with progressive but my cost goes up for every 1000 dollars in mods or some s*** like that

called and talked to them. You can do anythiug you want to your car just those SPECIFIC parts will not be covered if they were stolen or damamged. it under custom parts policy.

So NO your car is not void if you add to it. Just the parts you add are void unless you purchase additional insurance on them.

BTW i called and said i did not have my policy number on me and just had a question!!!! now they can't record that i called about this and log it!!!!!!!!!

Progresive = too f*%kin expensive. That and they try every way they can to get out of paying you when you get in a wreck. That is from my experience. Allstate treats me right.

well i speed alot and progressive is my best price and they did cover my aftermarket s*** w/o knowing it so i will stay with them specially now since they did not raise my insurince(sp) knowing all my mods

my insurance payment increases $50.00 per $5000.00 worth of mods and i'm not there yet so as of now it has not gone up yet, i only need another 1400.00 to get my car where i want it to be so i'll only hit about the 4400.00 mark. i have a stock turbo but the receipt i showed them which belong to a freind was for a bigger aftermarket turbo so i will get the upgraded model if i claim it on my insurance. all in all my coverage is great and no problems with tweaking my car. they will even cover vinyl graphix and tint should it get vandalized. check into it.....it can't hurt to get a quote

Progressive is the cheapest out there!!!! I had 5 points on my license and was only paying 800 every 6 months. Geico was trying to charge me 1800 every 6 months. so i switched needless to say. I was with geico for 9 years and they didn't give a crap.

Now i have 2 points left and my record will be clean in 6 months and i will start shopping agian.. progressive is awesome for the High-risk driver!!!!!!!!!1

Progressive was going to charge me $1400 per 6 months. Geico was going to charge me $1600 for 6 months. I now have AAA and it is less than half that much. By the way, this is for my P5 with full coverage with $500 deductable and PLPD on my '89 Prelude.
