MODS: MS3 sub-forum suggestion

I was thinking it would be really nice if we could get a sub-section in this forum dedicated to only photo of user's car. eg: MS3 Photo Albums.

I know the welcome section is used for that, but it would be nice if we could just have a section dedicated to only photo threads like:

Just to name a few.

Having this sub-section in the MS3 forum would help to not necessarily clean up the other sub forums but keep it more organized for new and old members, and it'll make it quicker to view a member's thread without searching through welcome threads or appearance threads etc.

Jbiird, I dont think you need to move these types of threads over to the phot/video section.

I'm just suggesting that if we had a sub-forum for photos/video here in the MS3 section it would give a quick link to an organized section filled with "my MS3 photo thread" without searching through each section. Having a section like this would also allow users to create a personal photo journal and update easier without the cluster of other non-photo threads.

i dont think its a bad idea in theory, but the other members of the forum tend to think we never come out of this section, so if we post more in other sections around the forum, we can spread out a bit and get noticed for more than just when drama arises in here

AGREED! They have that on the 350z forum I was on, lets each person have a page to post up their pics and it makes it pretty nice, just click the username and it has a page of their pics.

Videos of MS3 specific would also be nice! For dragging, racing, exhaust sounds, bov, or whatever. Would make it easier when people ask for videos of certain mods that they want to hear and see in action

well, I'll run it by the other mods, but I still think that ANOTHER section in here only further segregates us from the rest of the community, maybe we could compromise somehow, like a sticky where people can post links to their photo/video section thread? just an idea, I'll run it by the group and see what they say...

Maybe just a section for user photo albums. and we can put what we drive in the title so like the title would be (GhostMercury - MS3) like how the mazdaspeed forum.org has it set up

honestly...i havnt been to another section of this forum since I sold my P5. When i had it I only went to the P5 section...never the mazdaspeed section. I guess some can call it segregation...truth is I just dont care whats goin on in the other sections...not to be a dick or anything there is enough goin on in here to keep me entertained...and besides...why would i want to know if there is a new header out for the FS 2.0? I am also a member of the other forum...the one dedicated to the speeds and I only look at MS3 related stuff...my guess is alot of people on here do the same which is why we are begging you to create a photo/video section in here.

I've been meaning to participate in the Miata section, but it doesn't seem to be as heavily viewed/participated in as this section.

this is a great idea. and i think it should be part of the MS3 section only, not the rest of the boards.

sometimes, i look at people's pictures to get ideas of stuff i want to do to my car. i don't want to look through a bunch of p5's or ms6's or msp's. i just want to look at ms3
