Hey guys, I just got a MS3 Black Mica Full gt package and GPS

I like the CAI install sound, I dont have one yet. I dont know what to go with any suggestions?

MS CAI or Autoexe or nething else with a nice clean sound and good performance

also. This is my first car wit a turbo. I really like the BOV sound. I know our cars have BPV's but im not sure if BPV's make sound. I dont think they do. Any suggestions on what BOV to get? i dont like ssqv sounds i like the pressurized sound sorta like the turbosmart or greddy BOV's make. i dont have too much funds cuz i just blew it all on the car lol so i was wonderin if u guys cud hook it up wit any suggestions or if neone wants to just come look at the car and tell me. ill be in San Jose this for a month then coming back to Socal.

BPV makes a sound when you add the CAI.

First get any CAI. After installing the CAI, then you can think about BPV/BOV. The CAI will definitely change the sound, and you may find yourself happy with the stock setup. Some people have posted anecdotal reports that a modded BPV/BOV could lower performance.

Most seem to go with the MS CAI, because of the presumed notion that other brands could void your warranty, and the MS will retain it. All are pretty equal in terms of performance. For further discussions, just do a search and you will find more than enough info.

thanks guys. Well i know that adding a bov cud lower performance like the hks ssqv i heard decreases power. I wanna go with the MS stuff. ive searched the specs after the additions and they are all pretty good. I youtubed the engine wit an MS CAI and it sounds really nice and the BPV sounds realllly good too when its letting the air out. ty ill add the CAI first and keep u guys posted.

i dont know how much i wanna lower my car yet. i wanna look aggressive but... toooo low is not my style either.

i also noticed a lot of people with borla exhausts. is there any particular reason for this? and i like really deep sounding exhausts but i dont want it to be too loud. any suggestions?

From my understanding if you are going to mod further go with the CP-E CAI because they did something with the MAF flange to keep everything as close to stock as possible. The MSpeed CAI I believe boasts the largest gains however with further mods and tuning there could be issues because the MSpeed CAI artifically leans out the car, please correct me if I am wrong.

Mazda speed springs will lower just slightly.

I dont believe Borla offers exhaust for the Speed 3 but I had it on my regular 3 and I loved the sound.
