That's great Dion. Of course only certain people will get it which is ok :)

So what's FE RING
RING is obvious. FE is the name given to Iron in the Periodic Table of Elements...Chem 101. All Canadian Engineers are given a Iron Ring. Hence, I am one and Chris is one.

LMAO. Thanks for the explanation Dion. I thought it had to do something w/ motorbikes.

Thanks again to FunkyBuddha for putting the thing together...All in all a pretty fun day, nice to see other cars of the brand, which I am not use to seeing up close, as well as modded examples...
Some of the factory paint colours are kick ass for oem jobs..
The cruise was good, but way to much traffic on #1 that day, its hard to get a good cruise in with a lot of cars on a nice weekend during peak tourism season I know...
I was on the brakes alot more than I was on boost...
Just a thought for next year, alot of the major highways that go down towards the southeast through Vulcan/Monarch area are pretty much deserted even on weekends, some nice provincial parks down there to.. I like the Canmore/Banff scenary, but apparently so does the rest of the world..;)..Maxt

Looks like a great turnout... hopefully next year I will be able to show up... (thumb)

How do you get to Barrier Lake?

Funky,

There's actually two ways ... you can hike/bike in from Heart Creek which is an awesome ride (about 14km, 1.5-2hr.) or drive down Hwy. 40 South - it's about 8km from Hwy. 1 (Trans Canada).
