Missing my CX5 while she is getting some body work done

I love my CX5, that sort of goes without saying. I didn't quite realize how great of a car it is until I am forced to drive something else. For the next couple of days I am in a '13 Rogue, which is not even close to being as nice as the CX5.

I have been crazy unlucky (or maybe Houston roads are just this treacherous, I'm new here) with damage from flying objects and careless people in parking lots. My repairs to date: 2 separate incidents where a tire struck my bumper causing various degree of damage during each incident to the bumper, fog light and windshield wiper hose; large scratch in the door, cause of which is unknown but looks similar to a key mark; large stone to the windshield, was able to be repaired and is outside of the line of vision of the driver; damage to rear bumper, cause unknown but looks like someone backed into it.

All this since September! Only 5,500 miles on the odometer. I just want my car back!

btw - The 2013 Rogue I assume was previous generation, not the latest generation model year 2014.

Awww!! Sorry you're missing your baby! When do you get her buckack??
Yuck, I hate Houston traffic!! Used to live in Texas City....
Sad about all the unlucky stuff happening to your CX-5! Grrr about the keying!!! People can be so mean!

P.S. She's so pretty in the pic!! :)

The Rogue I have is the previous generation, so I assume the new one is much nicer. I am not impressed by this '13 at all.

Fortunately I have a $0 comprehensive deductible so I can get these items fixed, but still wondering if the car is cursed! She should be back by Wednesday.

Interestingly, the damage to the bumper was isolated to the black plastic part at the bottom of the bumper - it is cracked, but apparently the entire bumper has to be replaced when that happens. It is not two separate pieces like I would have assumed. Strange.

Pretty normal, I've had 2 Mercedes (ML and C-class) with rear bumper caps replaced, similar situation. Better to have it fixed right.
