so, i'm registered, but i just realized i'll be at a halloween part the night before til about 3am.... what time does the mirrorkhana start?

Gates open at 7AM. First car out will be between 9:45 and 10:00, most likely. There will be a driver's meeting first and we'll need to break up run groups even before qualifying. We're still working on the final schedule.

That is for the Mirrorkana. I don't think I will be at the MK....AGAIN....damnit. I'm going camping with the wife and some of her Vet School friends. I really want to do one of the MK, and a buddy of mine with a Type R said that I could run his car since I told him I would give him whatever prize money I won. (thumb)

I will be there for the points event. My wife will be out there too, and I think she may take one of my time only runs. (thumb)

BTW, yes she is hot. :p

My goal for the weekend is to get at least the minimum amount of prize money so I can afford to enter the Sunday event.

my goal is to (1) not be really hungover, and (2) get more than 2 runs

it's double elimination, right?

Yes, there is are qualifying runs to determine seed/bracket positions. Then the double elimination begins, so you are guaranteed at least 4 runs.

Here are the payouts for finishing positions:

1st place = $150
2nd place = $100
3rd-4th place = $75
5th-8th place = $50

Alright guys. I'll be leaving NC Friday afternoon so I need a place to crash Friday and Saturday night. Kevin has offered a couch which I am perfectly fine with.....just seeing if I have any other options.

Only ONE of your runs? My (hot) wife signs up for her own set of runs. She even owns her own helmet just for autocross.
(glare)

Isn't great to have cool wives? (thumb)

Guaranteed 5 runs. 3 qual, 2 losses.

Luke, with the way you drive, I don't think you'll have any problem getting more than that. Buy some caffine Saturday morning.

Have you registered yet? There is NO on-site registration.

I was curious about how they exactly do the brackets. Is your starting difference set solely off of your classes PAX or does the qualifying runs have something to do with it. If you get a qualifying time and then you run faster during competition...how does that all work?

if you want to run Sunday, at least just register. You don't have to pay until you sign in Sunday morning. FSP runs in 2nd run group during the morning session.

PM sent, might be helpful

It's always something....I just got off the phone with Fedex because they only delivered 2 of the 4 tires I bought. The shipping label says that it weighs 86lbs and 225 V710's only weigh around 20lbs each so I'm missing 2 tires. Fedex says that they aren't on the delivery truck so they could be anywhere from here to Kentucky. I'm waiting for them to call me back right now, but from the looks of things I'll be on my old Hoosiers for this weekend. At least I won't have to play with my tire pressures.
