the eyelids look decent for $105, but that's not including paint job

I wonder how much it would cost to have them painted?

screw it, just go out to the vinyl store and make umm your self. thats what i did and it only cost me 10 buck for the material.

ha,ha..nate0123, i changed the pic, ya way to small. anyway, i like the "look" of the narrow light and the color match with the car...i dunno, i'm not sure i want to pay 105+ painting.....synthesis5, did you cut this yourself? how did the color match in vinyl? white was probably a little easier..although the silver shouldn't be to bad either?? joe

Don't get eyelids unless youre sporting a lip and grill too...it just doesnt look right without.

I got the MB eyelids as a last resort because I couldn't match the yellow to a vinyl. Having said that, get vinyl if your car is any color but yellow.

$110 shipped for the eyelids from AutoRND. Arrived late and in a pretty bad condition. An additional $58 each to get them prepped and painted.

The fit is far from perfect as well. They seem to be warped to the point where the 3M molding tape can't hold it down?

Not to mention there is 20%+ loss of usable light from the headlamps. No point in me getting HIDs now...

$230 for some half ass eyelids?

yea i did cut um myself. what i did what use some cardboard to draw and cut out the shape that i wanted for the eyelids to look like. i then put the carboard down on some vinyl , cut it out, stuck it one the headlight and baddaboom. oh yea, before sticking the vinyl down i sprayed a lite mist of windex on the sticky side of the vinyl, so that i would be able to work with the vinyl to the point were i liked it.

about the color, im not sure where you would get this material for yourself, but i went to a graphics vinyl store that has nothing but every color you could imagine of vinyl. im postive that they had silver, come to mind they even had some weirdo ass chrome colored one. owell. but good luck to ya.

I noticed you were the High bidder!
I myself don't like them on the P5, if I was to buy them I would shave them down so that they turn up towards the corner of the hood instead of the edge of the light. But I have the grinders and stuff to do it since I'm a bodyman. Just a thought, and hell they wouldn't look like everyone elses.

You could of went to any Hobby store and bought a whole roll of white Vinyl for under $3.00.
