Just wanted to extend an invitation to this meet for the Toronto guys on this board.
OFFICIAL ROOKIE MEET
Yes! This is what all you rookies and newbies have been waiting for! For some, it may be intimidating to come out to a large meet and show your face. Now that the club has so many members, it's even harder to meet people. This rookie event is being setup to make it easier for the new members of the club to come out and get a feeling of the club itself, to meet the other fellow rookies and to meet some of the more experienced members. Also this will be a good introduction into the many events that will be coming in the following months.
To be a rookie, the certain criteria must be met:
1) your posts are between 0-50
2) you haven't attended a meet in at least 6 months or at all
3) you are a brand new member (joined within the last 6 months)
This event is being established for all of the official rookies of the Toronto Protege Club. It is encouraged that each and every rookie should attend and show your face. We know that you are all out there and are looking for a meet to lose your virginity, hahahahaha!!!
Event Details:
1) Saturday, May 3, 2003 @ 7pm
We will will meet in the north-west parking lot of Yorkdale Mall (map below) and then cruise to a decided location (Timmies) nearby and later on, if people are up for it, we can go to another location for food/drinks.
2) As stated above, we are aiming this event at primarily rookies, however there are a few members that i am sure the rookies would like to meet: eg. existing members, Original 6, regional reps, P-Girls, etc.
We hope that all rookies will attend so that we can officially weclome you all to the Toronto Protege Club. Once again, this meet is open to ALL sides: East, WEST, Farm and Central.
If you are a rookie and would like to come, please respond with an "I am in" post. Any questions can be asked on this post and this post will be moderated for clarity. A running guest list will be maintained on this post as well. If you need any questions answered and are shy, please contact Kilian aka KIWEE via PM (Personal Message).
