Just for my OWN information, please post up if you are going and what days you'll be there and how many in your 'group'. THANKS!! You can also use this thread to coordinate caravans down, camping info, etc so we can keep the one in the Mazda Corral forum for important info ... (We'll be out for caravaning as we'll be leaving at the crack of dawn Friday morning and staying down in the area all weekend.)

ALSO, we'll be having Dinner THURSDAY night (June 13) 730pm at the Bier Haus 17692 Pearl Rd Strongsville, OH 44136 ... please note if you'll be joining us there too. A few of the teams, crews and drivers will be there : )

Whats the weekend schedule like for mid-ohio. I know saturdaIs race day. What happening friday and sunday? Trying to figure out what time to head down friday

the dates I'm asking for are what days you'll be AT Mid-Ohio, so I can get a basic head count for paddock tours, goody bags and lunch on Saturday. There is stuff going on at the track on Sunday, MX-Cup race at 940am, Lamborghini Trofeo race at 1140am, IMSA Prototype Lites races at 1255p and Miata Shootout Race at 155p (I think Doc with the red RX-8 is running in that, but in a miata, of course) ... but since it's not Grand-Am stuff, and we're usually pooped by Sunday, we usually don't go. That's not to say that can't change, but there are no 'corral activities' on Sunday, per se. Are you camping down there or driving home every day?

We've done that a couple times in the past, but the last time we did it we said it would be the last time following a Mid-Ohio weekend. Too burnt out by Sunday morning, too much crap from the weekend in the car, blah blah blah. : / But If anyone wants to do it, I'd be happy to give you the map. If no one recons (Larry) then no guarantees about freshly gravelled roads and/or road closures ...

once I get answers back from the teams as to what time the Paddock tours are scheduled, I'll post up and then I'd get down there before that. Continental practice starts at 835am so there'll be plenty to watch and do all day Friday too ...
