Mid July Meet

just wanted to say that this was a great meet and that i was really impressed by everyone's attitude (minus the focus guy). i had a great time and i'm looking forward to the next one. big thanks goes out to everyone that helped put it together.
 
Focus guy?

I missed the Focus guy thing... what happened? When did this happen?
 
just some random dude with a turbo focus that went flying around the parking lot at about 6K rpm's blowing enough smoke out of the tail pipe he coulda passed for a misquito killer truck.

Yeah, it wasn't smoking when he 1st came in, but on the way out it looked like some kinda Spy Hunter fogger smoke screen :D

but what was funnier was the first gen RX-7 that kept
backfiring. Not dissing a mazda member, but, I think
he did that on purpose just to make us laugh

The guy with the sub from the tweeter install
is proto5handler from the other forum. I don't think he is signed on this forum.

Damn man, I forgot all about that you better thank me clownfish that was my antenna after all. I was so nice to give it up to you. Now I get no radio reception and I lost the right to proclaim I had the first ever JustinB antenna. Damn you, LOL
 
Hey everybody...great meeting you all! Not only did I meet a lot of cool people, but I also picked up my first mod (billet antenna -- now in the .sig!). I'm kicking myself now for not getting the gauge rings, too. So a little t-shirt sunburn on the arms was a small price to pay (I forgot that 4 hours in the sun tends to do that).

Here's a panorama shot I stitched together from the meet -- it's very...wide (1082x72) but it's only 36K.

Downloading the video off of the camera right now. Still figuring out how to get the stills off the camera. I believe I did it once but my drunken arse forgot how lol.

HA Ahmed I thought you liked the sun and heat as you kept saying, and now you are complaing about a sunburn ;)
I got little red but I mostly tan and don't burn.

Hmmm wonder how Ryan is doing he always get burned, and is still just as white at the next meet :p
 
Ok got a 2:24 min video of some of the cars plus all of them lineup for the group shot. Stands at 16megs now, my sever space is limited to 15megs right now. Going to try and squeeze it down some more then post it.
