Microtech LT8s Wiring Diagram?

Yup it is version one... It says version 1 right on top of the device. Im surprised NSN Motorsports didn't send me the wiring diagram. I email them and steve replied instantly "Do you know who owned it originally at all?
". His main question was where did i get it from and then replied and told him where and he never got back to me :( guess since i didn't purchase from him and got it second hand from a friend he didn't want to help... Anyhow i found what i was looking for... Luckily another person in hawaii also has the same microtech and he saved the installation diagram (that was made by NSN themselves) which blows my mind that Steve Nackers didn't want to help.

Hmmm.... anyhow... im going to attach it here just incase anyone else needs to find this elusive documentation

Steve's just trying to protect his business.... bare in mind he was one of the (if not the) first person to work out how the standard loom and the microtech harness went together - and that R&D was/is his point of difference and commercial advantage.

People have bought MT's elsewhere (direct from MT, from other suppliers and so forth) and then magically expect steve to help them out 1) for free, and 2) provide base maps.... its not really right to ask him to do that.

The basic microtech wiring diagram (pinout from the back of the LT8S and LT10S) are freely available on the MT website http://www.microtechefi.com/microtech-wiring.php

Granted, theres nothing protege specific there, but the generic diagrams will help most people work out what goes where. I've done a few MT installs on a variety of different cars now, including a couple of proteges, and all i've ever used to do so is the standard blue microtech installation/wiring diagram that comes with the units or is available for download from their site. The real "tricky" bits on getting it to work on the protege come down to finding a +12v trigger source that is reliable (some BJ's have interesting "Car starts but never stops" problems on certain +12v trigger lines....i've torn my hair out about 4 times over this in the past), and getting the cam and crank wiring right.

Anyway...i don't really think Steve would appreciate you attaching his intellectual property....if you scored a copy of his install instructions, good for you - but putting it up there for all to see is going to potentially hurt his business. I know he's not an AV anymore but he was an AV for a very long time here and has helped countless protege owners from around the world...and i think he deserves a little more respect than putting his hard work up for all to see without so much as seeking his permission.

Our instructions have a legal disclaimer at the beginning of them. Remove them or I will pursue action.

Not that I didn't want to help, but I'm currently in Japan on business, and have been working 70-80 hours a week on all the things going on. But as I said in my last post, remove the document please. It's easy enough to do, or I'll use other avenues as necessary.

I do support and help with any unit that I have sold even when it is re-sold to someone else, good luck finding other vendors that do that, but it's not going to be the top of my queue, sorry.
