michigan mazda meet

would anyone be interested in having a mazda meet? possibly at milan dragway on one of their test and tune days or somthing of that matter.. waterfordhills is a little to expensive for my taste (not to mention membership, passing inspection....etc) let me know what you guys think.. im down for anything.. i just cant make it to the michigan fun run.

awesome.. im actually going autocrossing with a mazda6club.com member arch4life. first time. i've always been a straight line guy before this..well see how it goes.

u guys ever been to a weekly redline meet? it looks like that autocross event day has been cancled due to the course being re-paved.. anyone else have any good ideas for this weekend?

i've done redline a couple times last summer and early fall. The one off of eleven mile or something by the seven eleven? Theres a couple more around theres one in ann arbor i heard. But yeah. I'd be game for rollin to redline possibly.

definitely post up if you want to roll up to a redline meet together. I know sometimes theyve got stuff at Joe Randazzo's at Joy and Telegraph also. Thats what this forum is for, I think most of us want more interaction with the other MI members, so by all means keep posting ideas and dates/times.

From the Redline meet I have gone to its a huge parking lot where you wont get busted for just sitting there with 100 other guys and cars. Its primarily for sport compacts but i've seen mustangs, camaro's and other cars of those sorts. Pretty much, ya go there, show of your car if you have anything to show off, look at the other cars, shoot some s***. My friends and I when we have gone just end up staying for an hour after lookin at every car twice then rollin down Woodward.

the redline meets are no longer... a police chase came thru and the guy running from the cops dumped the bik @ redline so the cops shut it down for good. sometimes they meet in plymouth but its the end of the season so they are done now

interesting. I know Chris and I spoke a while back about having some Friday night meets at Snookers. If anyone's still interested, we can try to resurrect those.

The Southgate location works best for me, but we could always rotate it every month if people are serious. One other thing we've done in the past is go to Kart2Kart in Sterling Heights. Its a great thing to do for a few hours when we really can't get out to do a drive.

I will go to snookers and hang with you guys, what about tomorrow or next week, I live right over there too so, I drive near it every day. any of you guys interested in the indy meet? It will be in indy for sure now, I couldn't sway them for monroe.
