I have a friend who has a 90 miata for sale for $1500. Needs a water pump. Has good exterior (black), brand new grey vinyl top from a 2003 SE, and 16's. 120K on the clock.

Sorry for the double post, but was it a triple black? and now is a black black gray? Any pics?
I know I'm dreaming a little but if he's still got it in a few months I really might be able to get it. I'm sure it'll be gone by then though.

does the miata have a tilt steering wheel?

None that I've seen. But the NBs might.
No Miata yet has had a tilt wheel.
The second gen (NB) cars are just a redesign on the same chassis as the NA, so there's no tilt wheel on those either. Apparently, it's a pretty big deal to engineer tilt into a car that wasn't initially designed for it.
