mfactory review

unfortunately i was not aware of the torque specs on the differential so what ended up happening was the ring gear got torn up and all the bolts on the differential holding the ring gear got shredded to hell. the diff is still good though if that tells you anything lol. im waiting to start my motor build before i put it back in.

Do you have the torque specs and would you recommend lock tight on those bolts?

**** yes. hahaha locktite the s*** out of them. i cant remember but sam has the torque specs for them on his forums let me find them.

edit: torque specs are 75 ftlbs. with blue locktite and use the criss cross star pattern when putting them on.

I'm planning on getting this Mfactory LSD so this little thread was great to read. :)

i just put a new transmission with the mfactory differential in my car a few days ago. now my car is not turbo yet so the power output is much lower, but going from an open differential to this mfactory...its night and day. this car has never accelerated and handled the way it does now. the way it corners and grips the road is just amazing. i would highly recommend it to any of you. worth every damn penny i paid for it.

btw i have driven mazdaspeed protege's with the stock lsd and IMO it doesnt compare to the helical mfactory differential. hope this helps.

i have a set of nitto nt450 tires. got them for 400 shipped. very happy with their performance in both dry and rain. they grip very well.

edit: not to be a dick but this is a differential thread. question would be better for a new thread so you can get input from multiple people instead of thread jacking lol
