Metra DD fitment issues

Alright, i installed my Pioneer AVIC-D3 this weekend along with my temporary metra DD dash kit.

However, it doesn't seem to fit quite right. The bottom doesn't want to snap in correctly (Or maybe it snaps back out) and the weight of the unit causes it to tilt and pull the bottom out. It ends up making a gap above the stock climate controls.

Anyone else have this problem?

I figure you've already thought of this, but I'll throw it out there anyhow since this is the initial problem I had when using the Metra DD kit for my Kenwood.

Did you get all the wires out of the way?

I had to make a big effort to group all the wires and push them up high as there's more excess space up there. When I finally got everything right, the bottom no longer wanted to stick out.

Yeah, i got them up in there pretty good. It just seems like it doesn't want to clip in place. Or perhaps it is too much weight.

I'm not sure, but i guess i'll have to play with it more this weekend.
